Well I have found somethings that help with makeing my 2.5 litre 4 cylinder SEEM faster....
1. Try to go down hill
2. race slower cars
3. rev the eninge more often (gives that sound effect of going fast)
4. Find excuses why its so slow (I got shitty gas, etc)
5. Just say, nah I dont wanna punch it right now, gas cost to much.

Or just park the car before you tell people this is my ride.

give a 4 cylinder engine more umph...

you could throw all kinds of stuff at it to add more umph...

new plugs
plug wires
ignition coil/distributer
air filter/K&N
thinner weight oil maybe

how about a 4 barrel carberater
premium gas
"Lucas" fuel treatment

weight reduction always is a good thing.
lose some weight dude
empty the trunk..speakers/spare tire/dead bodies

Thanks all
most has been done to my car,
except the higher priced fuel, screw that..lol

if i cant get the car to my specs that i want it, then iam just gonna pull the engine and bring it to my local Performance place and get them to re-build it from top to bottom for about $3,000 Canadian.

I dont have those ground effects on my car, and i dont care for them either,

i found that picture and liked the pait scheme,

when i paint my car (hopefully soon) i want to paint it Identical to that pic,

i just think that when i get my tinted windows, that it'll look better with that paint scheme,

That picture of My Dream Cutlass was found on the internet,

It is a stock 1987 Cutlass Ciera GT, with the 2.5.

the only diffrence that i can see with that car being stock and my car being stock is the Ground effects and the headlights/front grill is diffrent.

well if u swap in a V6 your gonna need alotta things besides just the engine. If the components of the 4cylinder are ok, rebuild it to go turbo if thats wat you wanted.

wouldnt that motor require more than $3G's of modification to accomodate a turbo?
I'd say $3G's would buy a NICE L67 out of a wreck, AND pay for the materials required to mount it? (I'm likely talking out of my ass, I dont even know if one would fit under the hood)

But that'd be a sweet ass cutlass with an L67 in it :-) Ultimate sleeper. That would definately blow my mind if my mustang (hypothetically speaking of course, id never own a ford ;-) ) was completely smoked by a cutlass with 2.5L badging...

But now my question is how much work is it to put a 6 cyl in my car??
