I'd assume it wouldn't have the same motor mount positions, but those cars come factory with 6cyl versions, so I'd assume some welding and such... The worst would be all the wiring and ECM changes I think.

I think it might be the same motor mounts actually, as on a different forum (talking about the Tech 4) it said that it has the same mounts as a 60 degree v6, being the 3.8L V6, which was an option for the ciera in that year.

Ok, Thanks,
Thats all good news,

This website is the best,
Thanks for all of your help (everyone)
No i just have to get things rolling with the modifications,

It would be much easier if i had a second car to drive around, so i can park this one while iam working on it,
Cause there is nothing i hate more than a car half done cause it always seems to never get done.

I see an Olds Supreme for sale on someones front yard today, so after supper i thing iam going to go check her out.

The only thing with putting another car on the road is that i have to put it not just through a safety but i have to put it through the "Ontario Drive Clean E-Testing"
Its a pain in the ass.

Thanks again.

glad we dont have anything like that in alberta... or maybe it would be a good thing, there is sooooo much CRAP on our roads burning oil and stuff. Some cars are sooo bad that it's like a smoke screen, and you cant see in front of you.

Yeah thats why they started this Emission's Testing here a few years ago,
i think the stats from last week were six hundred thousand Ontario cars were pulled off the road in the province because of failing the e-testing.

Thats alot,
and i dont want to be a statistic,
Heres teh trick to beating the e-test

TAKE CARE OF YOUR CAR!!...lol

but my problem falls in at iam scared to buy a car, cause most are cheap now, but you dont know on most of them if the reason they are selling it is beacuse it wont past an e-test,
so that kinda sucks.

so the failing e-testing is going to mean RECORD profit levels for wrecking yards, unlimited supply of older car parts from the east. This is a good thing! :-)

That stuff will help a little, but really it wont effect it much, if ur car is in bad shape and ur pretty sure it'll fail unless u replace some main emisson components it'll fail. BTW Nice rim pic frop87 lookin sweet, take a pic with them on asap i wanna see!

some cars actually had an emmisions air pump driven off the cars belt system. I've got one on my truck at work that went for shit, and had to change it. I was wondering why I needed an air pump to pump air into my exhaust... Someone said it was to cheat emmissions testing. Sneaky.

Thanks Speedy, :D
I will be putting them on A.S.A.P.
iam debateing weather or not to buy Brand new tires first or weather i want to buy another Olds,

Here is one that i found today, it is going for $3000.00 Canadian

It is a Cutlass Supreme International Edition,
(not sure on year)
Fully loaded,
only thing i see wron with it is the left tail light has a hole in it, BIG DEAL!!

It has bucket seats in the back seat with a console,
and aluminum rims.

What do you's think??
Worth the price??

The only thing i dont like about it, is the color and the left front flat tire..lol

Hopefully that will past an e-test, my 87 olds ciera only has this year and 2006 left to go for an e-test, because you dont have to get your vechile e-tested if it is 20 years old or older.

??? why wouldnt you have to get a 20+ year old vehicle an emmisions test? To me, it would be especially important to test those ones. Stupid Liberals.

Nice car though, how many KM's on it? Sounds like a good buy to me, as long as mechanical is in as good of shape as cosmetic. Those cars always looked pretty sweet I thought.

I believe that it was the Conservatives that brought in the E-Tesating, when Ernie eves was our premier,
The liberals (Dalton McGuinty, Premier) wants to fade out and get rid of the e-testing,
but the Liberals are still Those Damn Liberals!!, Iam voting NDP cause they have bad luck and good ideas wheather they stick to it, who knows,
There all Lieing politicians.

Enough about politics.
Yeah it is kinda dumb, any car or truck that is on the road and that is 20 years old or more dont have to be e0tested, all they need is a straight up safety and then you are on the road with ur plates on it.

Iam not sure about the Kilometers or even how it runs, i went back there about an hour ago but they closed already, beacsue it is friday,
so ill have to wait till monday i think,

I will keep ya posted on the car.

By the way, what size engines usually come in those supremes??
6's?

What year is that cutlass? 1992 or 1993?
Cutlass Supreme International came with a 3.4L Fuel Injected V6 Vin:X, that's specific to the International series, no other engines offered.
