geez... thanks bdyman, the constructive critisizm is quite appreciated... Sorry I induce vomiting on your end, hope your keyboard is ok. And just for you, I give you permission to CLOSE your eyes next time you visit this topic. Next time I'll consult you before I get creative with my car.
c_creations... I got this stuff from a fabric store, it was on clearance and just caught my eye the right way. I bought a bit of it and started playing with it. I REALLY like airbaggedcierra's dash covering, he did an awesome job, and I'd LOVE to know where he got his material. Looks expensive.
Oh well, we'll see how everything turns out after the center console is finished. Worst case scenario: BDYMAN takes a ride in my car, and pukes on my dash, and I'll have to rip the fur all off. |

Ok. So, there's been some mixed feeling over my dash - and I wasnt sure whether I even liked it or not. But, since I had a lot of the material left, I deceided one night when I was bored out of my tree to cover the rest of the dash, and see how it looked.
Here are the results. Tell me what you think... I think it looks good, much more so than the crappy material I had on the computer before this. But, I dont think it will wear well. So far, the furry material is GREAT for dust, since it sucks all the dust into itself, and its not visible on the dash.
If I had some black leather bucket seats, that would complete the look...

I like it. Personally, I think you should reupholster the entire interior in the stuff - seats, door panels, headliner, floor - that would be hot.
What did you do to prep your dash panel thing for the cameleon paint? I was kinda thinking of borrowing your idea, if you don't mind. It caught my eye right away, and I think it would look good with my red interior. Thanks,
Barry |

| I just sanded the trim parts down, with a light grit sandpaper. The paint looks killer in the sunlight, and I just love the color changes. Wish I had about 6g's to plunk into a full fledged paint job of chameleon paint. |
