I have been thinking of installing some sort of functional hood scoop on my cutlass, Just looking around for the right style. Then I will be thinking of a way to make it functional, even if it just blows cool air into the engine around the intake would be way better. It gets really hot under the hood and the hot muggy air cant be that great running though the engine. I wonder if there would be a little increase in performance due to the cooler air. What do you think?
anyway i havent decided on one in the center, or on the driver side where the intake is. Just depends on the style of the scoop i see.
Another thing that could be an issue is gettin rain and snow in it. That wouldnt be too great.
any ideas? |

| you might have to do other modifications to take advantage of cooler air to its fullest.... Just make yourself a CAI that scoops from under the bumper, easier than cutting a hole in your hood! |
