here is one for you to discuss here in the forums....
I join the site here and you do not have my model listed.
Where is the Custom Cruiser model in the register drop down menu?
Take a few minutes and talk amongest yourselves. ; )
Some info about my wagon....
My 92 Olds Custom Cruiser is 1 of 4300 C/C wagons made that year, which was the last year that Olds made a rear wheel drive, and a full size wagon.
The 91 and 92 C/C wagon was based on the GM "B" body frame which is the same frame that the chevy caprice<impalla ss>, buick roadmaster, and Caddy fleetwood rolled on.
The 91 and 92 wagon came with the old school " Vista Roof "
not to mention full instramentation including a Tach.
The 4300 units produced in the 92 year make it close to collector car status, much like my 92 GMC Typhoon, which of only 2500 were produced.
Ok, anyone figured out how to get my model on the drop down menu in registration so I can have a place to fit in?
Thanks, glad to be here,
AJ

| Welcome to the site, cool car, wagon are commen back! I havent seen a lot of Custom Cruisers around, but my dad's uncle Jim had a mid 80's model. Did you make those clear lenses? Looks nice on the car, and the rims give it a much more noticable (I cant spell) look then the stock ones. |

| Damn, that car look sweet man... glad to hear you got the menus all figured out. I've always loved the look of the larger gm wagons, they're perfect candidates for lowered suspension. glad to have you on the site!!! |

he he... thanks guys for the great welcome. :D
Yeah, actually a 455 would fit in there.
However, I have a 383 stroker with a low rise whipple charger sitting in the wings for when my 5.7 L gives out. Luckly the guy who sold it to me got stuck with it due to a guy that had it built, but didn't pay for it completely due to the fact that he was a drug dealer, and got placed in the pen for 10 years. His loss my gain. I got it substantialy reduced as well because the builder wanted to get rid of it.
But, My 5.7 L V8 show's no sign of giving up anytime soon.
It runs strong, and does not burn a single drop of oil.
My goal is for pride now......, I want to try and get 400,000 miles out of it.
I have just over 235,000 now, and I'm on my 2nd tranny.

Welcome, In the past month i have actually thought about getting a custom cruiser, but an 80's one with the 307 in it :P gotta keep it olds and get that chevy out of it :) ... my intentions... PARTS HAULER! could also put like one of their air mattresses in the back and have wild crazy.... uhhhhhh sleep, yes sleep, nice comfortable sleep....
As far as drags.... i saw a picture of an 80's c/c with front tires in the air  ... now you know you got torque when you can lift the front of that big boat ;) |
