Well I finally got around to opening the new Moser rear end that arrived several weeks back. It is fitted with 4.11:1 gears and 33 spline axles.
I will try to get the unit installed in the next few weeks.

4.11's huh? that'll get you off the line quick!
if you don't mind my asking, what did that whole unit run you? not that I'm thinking of buying one, just curious what a setup like that costs. |

I would rather not post price.
Cost can be calculated at...
http://www.moserengineering.com/moser_interior/products.asp?CatID=28
Complete 12 bolt w/Posi (less brakes)
Add for 33 spline Eaton Posi-Unit
Add for Performance Rearend Cover
Plus 300 Lb freight shipping charge.

that's ok, I really hesitated to ask anyway, but it's just such a beautiful piece. my rear end is the original... I wire brushed it and painted it with flat black spray paint  it'll never look (or run) like that one I'm sure. Not that my car is for running down the track, but you know what I mean |
