| I would suggest contacting Eibach or another company as they usually have that info, and can steer you straight. |

Yes I actually exist.
lol
DP has been very very busy way to busy to share everything we have to offer on the site.
As for springs DP has a few sources and our primary source makes the springs to spec. We often get orders, even from professionals, and the person ordering does not understand the requirements to getting you the proper spring.
I will share.
The car is already aged so even stock springs will more than likely raise your car from where it is. now add the lower profile tires many have along with different wheel sizes.
Now add that we are dealing with GM who makes many many different rates and in the case of the Bonneville and some models of the olds ther are 5 different rear rates. That’s right 5. Then add the fact they change the codes and serial numbers over the years so unless the research is done with a competent dealership or other source you can have alot of errors. Costly ones. So it can be easy to mess up.
I will make it easy for you:
Our springs are custom made and made based on the code on the springs. If you wish to risk it (your money) and don’t have a code we will use your car info to make you a set. We need to know the height from flat ground to the top of the inside of your wheel well, any tire size and rim size changes from your cars original equipment. Finally decide on the drop you want and be ready to wait.
Yes we can take awhile because we work with a factory willing to drop our orders between the mass orders ordered for common larger orders. Our builder has made prototypes for both gm and chrysler. So truly one off custom orders are available.
Hope this helped. |

too my knowledge there was only 1 spring rate for the delta88 F41 spring package (cause it wasn;t supposed to be offered with the auto air leveling ... nor did it come s/c ... for my year anyways...
infact most ppl are amazed that my car even had the f41 available... even on Hbody specific forums
anyways... as for catching air... I doubt it as far as I can tell I'm the most aggressive driver this cars ever had and I haven't come close to launching it airborne  I don't doubt that it's sagged a little but even then it's still got well over 3inchs of fenderwell gap
it won't be till late winter early spring that I will be looking at ordering a set of springs... and since DP is the only company to date I can find selling aftermarket springs I'll probably have to end up custom ordering a set
but what your saying is... If I can get the serial # for my spring set... you can make a set of 2inch lowering springs to the same spring rate?... can I request a little more spring rate and progessive coils? |

The problem you run into with progressive coils is that they can be very unpredictable in the corners. Sure they may ride a little nicer than just a straight, stiffer, standard coil but when you get into the turns, you don't always know what your going to get with the progressives.
With the standard coil its the same stiffness all of the time whether your cornering, cruising or what have you. |

Hi projectheavytouring, hello All
I don't know if it applies to your new cars, but AC and non AC cars will have different spring rates and heights.
I've always cut the coil springs to lower my cars and it usually increases the spring rate by the right amount.
Regards, Norm |
