Right now the inside of my car is stripped. I removed all the plastic covers seats, door covers headliner, everything is out except my seat and the carpet mold. And I am repainting everything from blue to white. My question is, where do i get a white carpet, and if I can't get it, is it hard to mold one yourself? Also what kind of colors should I use/where to get it. I got a can of regular spray paint for plastic from menards, didn't go too good.
off topic, when I removed the dashboard, the whole damn thing is being held by one screw, cause the other 5 were just broken off..... cheap ass plastic. So i gotta make something so I can refasten them to the car. and the vent for the a/c for windows, the drivers side screws were missing. I wonder if someone took em off for some reason or if GM just did an half-assed job putting it together, lol. |

They can do pretty much every color carpet molded specifically for your car (even white).

| man, white carpet is tough...... unless the car is going to be strictly for show I would strongly suggest to find a color that will hide at least a little dirt. I don't think I've ever seen white carpet in a car come to think of it. even a light gray will stay looking good longer, and will probably look goood with the rest of your interior. |

| White isn't good for arm rests on the doors and the other dash accessories. Also think about the top of the dash. If it is white you will have one HELL of a time with reflections on the inside of the windshield. Try basic black on the carpet and those accessories. It should look good. Good luck. BTW the top of the dash should be flat or matt black not gloss black.... |

| I would pick a contrasting color, because a pure white interior will bug you down the road... Try a dark grey carpet with white accents, I think you would be pleasantly surprised. |

I think a dark blue and white would look good.
Or maroon and white.

thx all for the replies. So black carpet, black arm rests, unno about the dashboard, black will get really hot during the summer. Black or white headliner?
What about the seats. Wanna wrap it in leather, white with black outlines maybe, or the other way around? |
