I dont know what year the guage set it on the top. My 1990 has BACKLIT guages so just the numbers glow, and that was really cool I thought (vs the front lit guage set I have in my 88, and you likely have in the 87.)

Did you ever work out the problems with loose/wrong connections for the cluster? I gave up on mine, after I found out how different they were. Not to say its not possible.

The delta is a major daily driver right now. Racking miles up on it like crazy. Haven't had time to really look into it. I think in time I'll just add a temperature gauge where the Delta 88 emblem thing is in the dash, don't really wanna fool with a whole lot. I'm gonna try and experiment with some LEDS in the cluster to see how that goes.

BTW, speedo on top is from a 1989 or 1990.

Brando - I was thinking about doing that a long time ago, but didnt know if the backlighting would illuminate it enough during the daytime. I think it would look real sharp.

I'm only doing that to the windows since limo tint all around is legal here.

Well, it appears when they switched to the 3800 Series I, electronics switched slightly. So, I'm stuck with the stock needles.

87delta, thats kinda what I expected. It would have been nice to have the back-lit guages, but, I guess one must choose thier battles.

How do you go about doing that? I got the digital dash in my car, too , and with the blue interior I have, that would look so cool!!!

Doesn't really explain how he did it, outside of talking about cellophane--did he just wrap that around the light bulbs? How did he get to the bulbs?
