I was looking to put rims on my 1996 oldsmobile 88. Does anyone know the biggest size I can put on this model. I was told by a few different rim shops that the 1996 model couldnt go higher than 18"s but they could possible squeeze on 19's. Even though there is plenty of space for 20's they mentioned something about the suspension on this model. Does anyone know if 20's are possible?? A few smaller rim shops said they would be able to fit on 20's.

thanks

20's will fit but wheel spacers or a diffrent off set will be needed to turn lock to lock, i wouldnt recomend them anyway because of the added stress it adds to the transmission, and suspension. 18's fit great and very close to the factory o.d wheel/tire combo. id go with the 18's if i was you.
