Shaving handles is one thing, but replacing them?...

Any dealers you all know of for door handles? Just wondering if there's any options out there...

I would like to do something like that to my Cutlass, I was thinking of swapping for handles out of a Grand Am or a Grand Prix. I prefer handles that sink in rather than stick out, plus it would eliminate some rattles for me.

I also though of shaving the rear doors completely so they would only open from inside, and then just swap the 2 front handles.

Im not sure what all is involved, but I would like to know.

I thought about that also one time. I was thinking about mauhe just haveing a cover pade for min so the door handles woul have like a have cover like over them. The bottom would stiff me open but a perminate covr would be looped over like a hood over the handle.

Guess my post didn't make it.

Let me try again...

Look at a cooler with built in handles. You know how the like curve in and ou can like curl under the handle? Well I would like that. But when you go under the handle woule be there. Kinda like a cover for the handle. I what to call it almost a hood over the handle. I am trying to think of another way to describe it. I think I will draw a picture later and post it.

If I was to convert the handles I would want the pull type like on Jeep CHerokees. The big black ones. My mom has those type on her tracker I love them.

what
theburningcandle is trying to say is..

having a little shell hiding the handle (like an inverted miniture hood scoop) with opening down and handle underneath it..

so the handles are hidden, and you have the opening at the bottom and pull the handle open from underneath the cover..

coming from a body man`s view
either shave them off
or just do totaly different handles
i have done on a couple of nomads i used dodge handles
but now ur talkin totaly goin custom
i say shave the handle and be done with it
but if you don`t know what your doin take it to a shop and have it done the right way
my .02 cents
