I got my the side of my olds keyed a while back and i am sick of looking at it since it goes all the way down the side of my car. Can i get it repainted and will it be close to the color i have now?

Maybe you should try some compound? ( I havent used it but the guy nextdoor does).

what is compound does it fill in the scratch cause i have tried just about everything and i think the only option is to repaint it

Compound takes the paint around the scratch and makes it almost wet again so that you can spred it a little into the scratch. Im sure that another member could explain it better.

my white buick was shot up with bb guns along the side.. i went to autozone (walmart has a small selection also) and they have touch up paint like fingernail polish, and you can match the color pretty easily

tried the touch up paint doesn't look good at all thanks all for the help i appreciate it a lot

im going to have to do some touch up work on mine also.. im going to try to get the color custom mixed to match exactly, i dont know how much thats gonna run me :S

I went to your site, I seen the scratch, and the missing "Ciera". That sucks, was it deffinitly keyed or something else? I dont know how you could fix it, too bad its in awsome shape!!! 8)

What about the new dupli-color ( i know thats spelled wrong) pen touch up paint? I think they got it at autozone,.

i have tried that the scratch is really deep and if i use touch up paint it just looks like a light blue line instead of a white line and its even more noticable
