Someone stepped up to the plate with a seperate community for the not so common which is why I have been here for while. Learned quite a bit here actually. olds are underrated plain and simple and have been for a while. at least in the newer days. People do not appreciate them as much as pontiacs and buicks or caddys just because of the name and GM's marketing plans

Gm had pontiac for younger people wanting sporty looking stuff....then chevy brand was the middle of the road between sport and luxury....then buick, the luxury section for people wanting cheaper luxury if they could not afford a caddy.

but then there was olds....never really fit a category, if people wanted luxury and performance they went with buicks or caddys and a for cheap car they got chevys. Olds were not really needed at all with how many models gm has now.

so since they were not prefered over the rest based only on name and looks, well they do not get the respect they deserve and this site does something to change that.
