Humble apologies to fellow Olds owners. I am learning blogging conventions and didn't know I'm in the wrong area or topic. Regarding the problem we've discussed thus far; I think the earlier comment that coolant and EGR temps caused the plenum to warp, thus leak coolant into the intake manifold is basically correct. I wish I could post pics here because I took pics of the plenum and mating surfaces during repair. They clearly show the plenum warped in the area next to the EGR inlet. Also the old gasket was degraded/brittle in that area also. The resulting leakage is seen in the castings around the injectors while coolant also is being burned in the cylinders, eventually stalling the engine. It's been a major headache twice in five years. Again, thanks for all your suggestions/insights.
