just wondering....what's so special about it? I would think you could get it at any parts store...

The shape of the bumper makes it so that you cant get a plate on there without the bracket, so you have to get one if your state (like mine) req. a front plate. It has to be gotten through a dealer because no one else has parts for a 20 year old car that most people wouldnt car enough about to get a new bracket. It was luck that there are a few hanging around at GM's Boston warehouse where my dealer orders parts from.
