Needed:

Information regarding locating a drivers side front door hinge for a 1995 Olds 98 Regency Elite (supercharged).

How long did this model run without major changes to the body style? I am restoring this car and will need several body parts.

Any and all help will be greatly appriciated.

Thanks,

Dangerrat (torc72@yahoo.com)

Hi dangerrat, hello everyone,

Welcome to TOC.

Sorry about the slow reply.

Is yours broken, or worn and in need of a rebuild?

Regards, Norm

The 1991-1996 models should all have the same body. Many parts from the H body (LeSabre/88/Bonneville) and the Buick Park Ave many also fit. Be sure to check the little details before you buy the parts as there are some differences.

The door hinges for all of the C/H cars are identical from 92 on. If my memory serves me correct, they would be studs with nuts from the door side, and the same from the body side. I worked at GM in the door group at the time, and I distinctly remember putting a shoulder stud on the body side so that we could take the doors off at Buick City because of a floorspace issue that we didn't have at the other 2 assembly plants, Wentzville, MO, and Orion. You should be able to use any door hinge, from the proper side, and remember that upper and lower hinges were different.
