Anyone interested in knives? I wasn't until just recently....

I got a Benchmade 557S Mini Griptillian with the partially serrated blade...nice little knife and it's pretty sharp. I carry it ALMOST everywhere I go.... The axis lock is pretty nice...almost like an automatic being able to flick it open and close it with a flick of the wrist.

I also have a couple old knives that I found in the building out back...they were my dads. I'm not sure what one of them is...haven't looked at it, but one of them is a Schrade LB7, apparently from around 1991....it needs a good sharpening, but that sucker is huge compared to the Benchmade. It's got a wooden handle, brass endcaps, and a stainless steel blade...pretty nice. It's definately had some use from the looks of it...but that adds character... :)

Hi Brando, hello everyone,

Got a Shrade just like that one. Bought it in the early eighties and carried it since. Before that, I carried a two 2 blade Case.

Got a late Nineties Buck that's still in the package. It was given to me.

Regards, Norm

I used to collect quite a few and I still have a nagging urge to get involved with making my own, but there have been more pressing interests lately.

The one that gets the most use these days is my little Swiss-Tech "Utili-Key 6 in 1" tool.
