I have Panda Titanium Antivirus 2005 and then my Smoothwall.
The Panda detects adware/spyware along with viruses on the fly! It catches them right away, and lets you know...best antivirus I have ever used that doesn't hog your resources. I was using that free Avast Antivirus stuff....didn't do anything, got Panda installed and it detected some adware and viruses (21). The Smoothwall, well...no worries about someone hacking me with that...

Well...this was popular...

Right now I'm using BitDefender antivirus and I hate it....everytime it updates it wants to restart the computer. Sometimes I'll be typing and it does some system check because it draws attention to bitdefender (in the system tray), instead of the browser...

I'm going back to Panda...that was a great antivirus program...AND spyware/adware.

Decided to try out NOD32 instead, read some good things about it.

So far it works great..it found a trojan right away....apparently bitdefender wasn't defending any bits at all....

The Panda/Adaware/Spybot/Giant combo worked great for me. I wish Giant was still around. I have CCleaner, bazooka, ewido, trend micro, and bitdefender in place of the old Giant software... I have belarc, and hijack this too... I just use the windows firewall, with my router, and all is well. Panda is the best... too bad mine has stopped updating. (it was hacked)
