so my deltas head gasket officially blew last week. its pissing coolant from behind the alternator all in to the fan and making a huge mess.. Thinking im just guna junk it, i'd fix it myself but i've lost interest. I've got my sights on a silver '99 mitsubishi eclipse GT with black rims. sad huh? owell.. anyone want me to part it out before i have it hauled off? email me at Brianritchie21787@hotmail.com. Interior is mint, everything on the body is in great shape. 16 x 7.5 Cragar Superspokes with new hankook 20575r16 T rated tires (maybe 200 miles on them) going for 150$ for the package. so lemme know.

Idea... (as the masses scream NOOOOOO! ) You could keep it, and get a new car. Build a nice 350 or 403 for it, and have a cool toy. Unless you have no room for it... Just a thought, sorry to hear of your bad luck.

good news, well for me anyway. sorry 87 delta haha. Me being a tire tech and not a mechanic, i was shown the difference between a head gasket and an intake gasket i feel stupid now but im still learning haha.

So anyway it was my intake gasket that was leaking. I've got my carburator off all thats left to do is take the intake off and replace the gasket. i managed to break all of the vacume lines but thats okay they were all original equipment and leaking anyway and need replacing

i plan on doing all that at work today, along with a good wash/degreasing because the coolant is everywhere and a 160 degree thermostat (as oppose to 180) and an oil change once the intakes back on. tough to think about how i almost gave up on her still only 68K miles! I'll keep you posted on the progress
