Tried to get a price on a fuel pump sending unit at the local Carquest auto parts, and they didn't have a part number for it. So I had to drive all the way to Philadelphia (half an hour away and in MS, not PA ) to the Chevrolet dealership. They quoted me around $500 for a sending unit! Thats what I paid for my entire car! I don't understand why that sucker would be so damn expensive! Also priced the AC line I needed, but that was only $60. Guess I'll just have to deal with a messed up gas gauge.

I didn't stop by NAPA when I was in Philly, there is one there. $140 is much better then $500

And no, that isn't the AC line I need. It's the line that has the low pressure valve. $60 is that bad, that I can do.

BTW, I'd call in a day before you head out so that they can order the part if they don't have it in stock...

I go into that town every other day. I'll order it the one and pick it up the next. :)
