Dood, that happened to me one time. I got this Nintendo bookbag off the sale rack at Hot Topic as a gift for a friend of mine, and I didn't realize that they had forgotten to remove the tag at the register until the gift recipient noticed it.
So we had to take the bag back to the mall and ask them to remove it.
Yeah...so it was interesting because I couldn't find the receipt so I had to show them as I walked in the door that I really had already bought it and was bringing it into the store from the outside world.
Ehhhh well.
That website is useful tho, thanks for posting it. I'll refer to it next time I get something and they forget to remove the tag.
Removed it without making a trip to JC Penny and the jeans look like new....as they should...since they are.
