I have a 1994 Polaris 750SL that needs a little attention. We had it out Labor Day weekend and the second rider of the day killed it. I didn't even get a chance to ride it that day! She said that she was riding and it just stopped moving. The engine runs fine, but the impellor doesn't spin. We just towed it to the ramp with the boat. I know even LESS about fixing jet skis than I do about fixing my car, so I figure I'll leave this up to someone who knows what he/she is doing. Anybody have any ideas or know someone or somewhere in the Ann Arbor area that you would recommend? I'd really like to have it up and running before spring so I can either use it or sell it! It really was/is a nice jet ski, so I'd like SOMEBODY to get some use out of it.

I've got a 1996 SL780...

If the impeller isnt spinning, its going to have something to do with where it hooks to the crank or the impeller itself. I have never had mine apart, but they are fairly simple beasts by my understanding of them. Check the intake side, and if there is any debris there, clean it out. That alone could cause it not to move.

They are a PITA to work on, I would take it to a marina. To me its well worth the money spent to not have to deal with the close quarters and such.
