Has anyone replaced their stock horn with something bigger? My buddy at school got a train horn off ebay and the thing is so loud, dust came out of the ceiling. It was rated at something like 130dB. I think it would be really cool to get something like a truck horn, something really deep. Im assuming you would need a compressor for something like that, but i saw on ebay there are dual horns that run off a 12V DC compressor that comes with it, which would be an easy install. Has anyone heard these things before? is it worth it? they're pretty cheap i.e. 20 bucks or so.

I couldnt stand having a stock horn. I spent $100 bux on it, but its fully chromed, metal horns, quite a bit larger than those el-cheapo plastic deals. I've had a set of the plastic 3-tone setups too, but these beat the pants off em:

It makes waves in traffic, and will send nearby pedestrians into heart-attack mode. The packaging claimed 125dB, but I have no way to confirm that.

Definately not like a train, or a semi truck's DEEP sound, but loud enough. If that doesnt suit you, check out: HORN BLASTERS

thats absolutely awesome. unfortunately, i dont want to spend that much money, so i guess i'll just wait. i just dropped a hefty sum on the sound system which i have yet to finish installing. But i think this would be a hilarious accessory. Those videos are so funny
