Before this gets out of hand: Im saying a CNC machine so i can experiment with intake designs etc. etc. etc. to see what makes HP or tourqe on raskulls engine, which happens to be the same as me but you get the point. just Throwing around some ideas

I know that this is all completely hypothetical, but I don't think a CNC machine could help you, if this were to take place. A CAD program could help you put your ideas on paper, and the specifications of said idea would be better suited to a program such as Desktop Dyno that gives you approximate results via mathematical calculation. A CNC machine just runs a program, and isn't able to make adjustments on the fly or anything.

This could easily turn into a discussion about what/how engine parts work together, and how to change and modify them to make more power, but I don't know that's what the OP wanted or has interest in.

If you are looking for just a ballpark build, you can look at the engine build section of ROP, which is www.realoldspower.com. That part of the forum is read only, so any questions you have about it would either need to be directed here, or there.

A childish threat, perhaps?

Learn what it is, and how it us used, before you start talking about it.

CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) is software that assists in making the "blueprint" for a widget, using a predetermined design. It cannot evaluate that design.

CNC (Computer Numerical Control) is software that guides machine tooling, to fabricate the widget that was drawn with the aid of the CAD program. Like CAD, it cannot evaluate anything.

Neither have anything to do with the topic.

If you would like to discuss one or both, in depth, you can start a new thread, in the proper forum.

You cannot observe/download data that is not there.

It cannot be there, unless you upload it.

You cannot upload it until you have acquired it.

If you already have it, you would have no reason to upload it, in order to download it.

Your example is "Catch 22".

Nothing to do with the topic. He did not ask about his engine.

His engine is, however, subject to the same laws of physics as any other 4 stroke Otto cycle engine.

Nothing to do with the topic. He did not ask about your engine.

Which, as we have seen, does not seem to be subject to those laws.

Yes. You are good at that.

Nothing but "old school" there. No V6s or FWD, so there is nothing for 91buickman to learn.

O, ok andrew got you, remeber earlier i mentioned wanting a dyno too?

that goes along with me wanting to test my intake designs from a CNC

machine/program to test on the dyno. But thanks for the link, As for

Norms comments.... Ignored.... have a nice day

I'm sorry, that part was intended for the OP, in regards to his interest in the 455- But if it helps anyone else, so much the better.

Yep. Should have been paying more attention.

Got sidetracked by the visual of 91buickman defending his posts, on ROP.
