Well...the second to last topic in this off-topic lounge is about beer. Just got back from the bar, hung out with some friends...usual friday night thing.

What's your favorite drink?

I'm a pretty big fan of captain and coke....but jack and coke is another favorite. I've got about 7 empty jack daniel's bottles on my counter right now...over about 7 months... Haven't been drinking much beer lately, but if I do...I'll have a Guinness like I did tonight before drinking a few captain and cokes. Had a fish and chips dinner before hand which was delicious, and I'm not too bad off because of that dinner I'm sure. Hopefully this post is legible as I've had to correct myself a few times already just typing this.

Yea, I guess I should have put alcoholic beverage instead of "drink" in the title.
But if you don't drink alcoholic beverages, that's cool as well.

Eesh.. Generally an ounce of hard liquor like whiskey will render me pretty drunk (kidneys that don't work make me a cheap date.. My boyfriend lucked out!), but my favorite whiskey happens to be Tullamore Dew, or Basil Hayden's. If you're a whiskey drinker, pick some up. They're infinitely smoother than Jack, but TD is the best; I think.

I'll drink TD straight and with either lemon-lime soda, or with cola. And even less often when I drink it with cola, I'll put a little bit of grenadine in it. That's super-delicious for those who wanna drink, but can't really handle the alcohol taste.

Hah.. I almost have no experience drinking for obvious reasons, but I'm apparently very fussy, so I know what I want..

Also: If you've never tried Mead.. Do it. It will mess you up if you're just looking to get sloshed on not a lot of booze. Before I started dialysis, I had a little less than an ounce, and I was stumbling-pink-in-the-cheeks-slurring-my-words drunk. Fermented honey kicks all else aside when it comes to just straight getting drunk.
