On the Civic the key to start the car is the key to open the doors and trunk. The same key does everything, but it came with two of the same key (like teh Ciera has 2 sets of keys, so does the motorcycle). When my uncle got his new Chrysler PT Cruiser it had 2 sets of keys 2.

Oh...so..what your point about that then.....my mom's intrigue came with two keys that are the SAME....I thought you were talking about two DIFFERENT keys, one for doors and one for ignition.... :roll:

My thinking of the "two keys" is that you have two SETS of keys. That way when you lock your keys in the car, you (or someone else) have another set to use. When I was living at home in high school/college, I had the other spare door key in my wallet.

I do that too, I've been glad it was there more than once.... except that one time I locked my keys in the car, with my wallet still in the car! :lol: luckely I was at home and had another key in the house.
