My mother is buying a new Pontiac Vibe.... it's not the sort of car I could really see myself in, kinda small for my taste, but my mother loves it. plus she commutes pretty far to work every day so she needs good gas mileage. It’s a white one with all wheel drive, sunroof, lots of options. I drove it and it's actually not bad for a piss cutter 4 cyl. Kinda cool to have all wheel drive in a car also.
Anyway.... she's going to be selling her 1993 Regency 98. it's white, lots of miles (just under 180K mostly highway) it has a 3800 that runs PERFECT, never misses a beat, starts easy and doesn't burn or leak a drop of oil. The tranny is the original and works like new. The interior is dark blue leather, in very nice shape. Power everything, the drivers seat has some wear, but nothing bad. (no rips or anything) The body is very nice, no dents or anything... the paint is fine (no rust), it's shiney, but if it was buffed out it could look like brand new. there aren't any deep scratches or scuffs in the paint.
it's in overall Excellent shape, mechanically and aesthetically. It has been very well maintained by a dealer, my mother is real good about getting the fluids changed on time, etc. She always parks it in the garage, so I'm sure that has helped keep the body and paint in better condition.
looks like she wants to get $2500 for it, which is just under the blue book value. Worth every penny in my opinion. If I could use it I'd buy it in a second, but I don't really need THREE vehicles
