Got a new 04 Alero and unfortunately I can't afford to keep both cars. It's a 1990 Cutlass ciera w/ full airbag suspension, crushed velvet interior and i'll even throw in the 18" Alt rims, they need 1 tire. check it out at
car page
it has the V6 engine w/a recently rebuilt tranny. The car has 160K miles on it and still runs strong and fast.

but ask yourself .
who would be in the market for an airride on a ciera?
wrong car
do it on a cutLASS supreme and you mnight have something the MARKET might want
sad as it may be to say the Ciera is a car most evry1 skips over in the age of the Oldsmobile.
SAD BUT TRUE BUD
my car is as factory as can reasonable be and i'm proud of it..1 day the rest of the world will catch up with ME..

if I were in the market for an air-ride car, in good running shape with everything already done to it, I'd likely be prepared to pay at least 4000-5000 canadian. Thats well over 2500...
Go for it man, its your baby... Ask whatever you think its worth.

Hello all
The value of any vehicle is determined by how much a buyer will pay for it.
In my neighborhood, it may or may not be worth $2500, but in some areas of Southern California (or in Fresno ) a buyer might consider it a very good deal.
Regards, Norm

i've thought about just keeping the airride parts that'd switch over and 'bagging the alero. The only thing I'd need new would be the air struts for the Alero, everything else I already have on the Ciera.

Thats not a bad deal... I want to get some air-setup for my ciera, its the same color n all as yours, so I know what it would look like.
I just want to know how a car drives with AIR. I heard that there are release valves that let air out on big bumps etc, so that the bags dont pop, and for this reason, driving real low, is shitty. (cuz the car 'sinks' as you drive it) <-- am I right?
I want the look n all, but I dont know if bags are the right way to go, I want a good handling car and I used to think that even with bags, if you drop 2 inches, it will ride like a car with a 2" Eibach drop.. this isn't the case is it

I guess that you could set it up that way, but i wouldn't ever worry about that happening unless your running like 175 psi which is way to much to drive on anyway. My car isn't like that, I've driven around w/ 150 psi in all 4 bags and hit a huge bu p and none of my bags ever popped. If you put new shocks on it w/ the bags it rides Awesome, w/o shocks it's pretty bouncy of course! Your car will still handle great, mine does. i can't count the # of bends I've sped around especially w/ those sticky 18" rims on there! I drive sometimes w/ like 30-40 psi in the bnags and like 1" or so off of the ground and it rides awesome, nothing like drop springs.
I'm willing to sell just the suspension, if your interested.

I meant that when you're driving lowered it'll ride way better than drop springs.
