Well...i got the system hooked up last nite ( for the most part), and not without a few difficulties. Somehow, i lost the left rear channel out of my damned deck, so i had to make some wiring adjustments for the time being, but all i can say is HOLY SHIT!!! 2 SPL 15's in a sealed box in a car as big as my 70 vista can STILL make your ears hurt!!!! and theyre not even NEAR being maxed out..this is running 2 SPL 15's wired together for a 4 ohm load, running off a Pioneer 760 bridged mono...still need to get the cap wired back in, and either get my deck fixed, or let myself justify buying a newer model Pioneer, so i can still run my changer off it....ahh the price ya pay for building a big stereo...lol

yeah, its actually very clean sounding. I honestly didnt expect this kinda clarity out of 15's. Nice tight bass even on rock tracks, and the lows are.....WHOA!!! low...lol...it doesnt sound like the typical " i'm someone who doesnt know ANYTHING about stereos, i just put a big sub in a small car with a tiny amp, and it sounds like ASS but DAMN i'm kewl 8) " system at ALL...lol..i'm gonna try to grab an SPL meter from radio shack to get an idea of the SPL. It wont be a perfectly accurate testing, but should get a general idea of the SPL range.

wow dude, that's awsom. I have a friend who has an old chevy van with a big 350 in it, he got a custom system fitted and instaled just for his van it's it rox. I'm thinking about getting a 95 cutlass wagon off e-bay, gives you alot more room for subs, pluss the open design makes it louder!
