Pretty sure on on Alero's there is a speaker cover. Pop it off gently and you should have full access to it. If not, should be accessible through the underside in the trunk. Very easy either way regardless

Never worked with Aleros, but any speaker replacement is easy as 1,2,3. If you got the speakers surrounded it should just come right off. The cables should just slip off with a gentle tug.
i was just cruzin the forums and came across this one, abiout 6x9's i own a 90' olds Regency going to put 6x9's in the rear instead of the 4x10's(correct me if wrong)(kinda tired)..but back to my question will the stock rear speaker boxes still fit over the 6x9's? if not what can i do? is it neccessary?
what about them? yes, the aftermarkets will fit in there...not sure what max depth is....it's just the black carpeted box with two plastic nuts holding it up, right?
Well, to me. 6 1/2's are better acoustically. My goal is sound quality, so I got rid of the 6x9's. You can use them if you want, I just don't like them.
Yep....a car audio myth that 6.5s sound better than 6x9s because they are round instead of oval shaped...that's about the only argument I've seen, no proof. Nothing wrong with a 6x9, nothing wrong at all.
