I'm interested in electronics, microcontrollers and computing. While I have stuff apart I want to build into my dashboard the innards of a laptop with a laptop screen and an easily accessible possibly simplified keyboard. I love to make things like gps and security systems from scratch and want to include that too. I'll be playing around with bluetooth, zigbee and open source wireless sensor arrays. I'm looking for the right cameras to mount discretely to give me a 360 degree view inside and out. I see that certain kinds of cameras are small and inexpensive.
Has anyone seen this done?
My goal is to get good resolution and be able to record to a hard drive(s?).
Someone somewhere will surely have done all the thinking for me.
PS I have a copy of National instruments object recognition software from a seminar I attended....I wonder if it can pick out police cars.
