I was looking at radios for my Intrigue, and noticed that their application guide was not correct...

Hi,
I was looking at the JVC KW-XC410 for my 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue GLS. My specific question is not about the JVC radio, but your web site application guide. When I enter my car info into the site, it says Double DIN size units do not fit, yet my car comes stock with a double DIN unit. Scosche makes mounting tabs to mount an aftermarket double DIN unit in my car, GM1590B is the part number. This is the OEM radio that comes in my 99 Intrigue:
http://www.mnrelectronics.com/par09olamfmc.htmlAs you can see, it is double DIN. If you could recheck your resources and maybe correct the error.
I know a lot of people use your site to see what will fit in their car, this would only deter them from buying a unit that actually fits in their dash.
The Scosche double DIN kit fits in all Intrigues, 98-03. I also checked Alero...it also shows Double DIN does fit....
I am referring to this PDF file for what cars use Double DIN (I know from personal experience that Alero and Intrigue are double din):

Will update when they reply...
Basically, don't trust Crutchfield as an application guide, a lot of times they aren't correct...I think they have Monkeys that type the info into the database.
For a fairly reliable source, go to
http://scosche-cars.com/
For wiring, go to
http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/veh ... e=Vehicles
I think you need to register to their forums in order to view the wiring info (colors, speaker sizes, location [alarm install]).
