Funny that you ask, I had the instrument cluster out today and found out that it's missing 5 lights that light up the gauges.

I got this today...

Now I just need to figure out which shade of purple/blue matches the blue LEDs best. I just sat down from sitting in front of my microwave (has a VFD) with my sampler pack...

The odometer, climate control, and rear view mirror (compass) are VFD...rear view mirror might be a bit difficult to do...

I'm infatuated with Blue LEDs.

I bought a AudioControl DQXS with a DDC remote a while back. The DQXS has all blue lighting...but the DDC remote only has green or red button backlighting.
Since it's going to be mounted in my sun visor, this obviously will not do...must be blue.

Here are the blue/red LEDs...Lite-On LTST-C195TBJRKT, .06" x .05".

The DDC Remote.

The DQXS Equalizer/Crossover.

The work bench....meter showing a current draw of about .71 amps at idle for the DQXS and DDC.

The many STOCK color combinations....

So I took it apart.

I installed the new Blue/Red LEDs...and couldn't resist testing it...
