I'm installing heated seats...purchased from http://www.checkcorp.com
Actually made in the USA....located in Troy, MI. The heated seat elements are pre-cut for the application.
Here's some more pics...

This is the passenger side....AFTER VACUUMING....wow, amazing how much crap collects under seats. Can see the heated seat module (unplugged) and the larger wiring loom is the heated seat wiring...the smaller loom is for the power seat motor.



See the two 7.5 amp fuses side by side? Those are for the driver and passenger heated seats. My main goal in everything I wire up is to make it look stock. The 2 amp fuse in the top right corner is for my radar detector...



Here are the heated seat elements. Smaller one (blue wires) is for the back and the larger one (yellow/brown/green/blue wires) is for the bottom cushion.



Picture of the bottom cushion heat element installed. Pre-cut to not interfere with velcro strips. Everything went together very well. Surprised at how easy it actually is to take these seats apart.



Bottom of the passenger side seat...everything tidied up underneath.



Just need to drill holes in the radio/hvac trim plate for the switches (that's where the stock switches would be)....found out I don't have a 51/64" drill bit...or anything close to it. Here's the wiring for the switches and that's where the switches will reside.



I did try them out tonight...put the A/C on cold full blast and turned the heated seats on... They definitely heat the seats up!

THAT is soo cool, how much did that run ya in total?

Kit is $180 per seat....so $360 for both seats. They make cheaper kits...but I chose to purchase the premium kit (three temp). GM licensed.

They also make heated massage seat elements...

I looked at other companies, such as Rostra...they make lumbar kits. There's also ventilation and heating system kits.

It can get pretty crazy....

The standard kits...which are single temperature are $90 per seat...so it would be $180 total.

Finished the install up today...
Went to harbor freight and got me some step drills.

The 3 piece set I had a coupon to get it for $7.99 and the 2 piece set was on sale for $14.99.
Good thing to have on hand as I don't have any step bits.
I used the 3/16" to 7/8" bit from the 2 piece set and drilled the holes out to 3/4" (48/64"). Needed to shave the tabs off of the switches (which called for a 51/64" hole) with a utility knife...sure was a tight fit, had to file the holes a little around the sides as it was binding the switch up.



Here the switches are installed into the panel...tight fit. If you're wondering how I got the switches so well lined up...I whipped a template up in photoshop.

Driver's side on high (red) and passenger's side on low (yellow).

Very nice... do you have a remote starter in that thing? That'd be awsome for cold mornings, hit the starter and have the seat switched on so it come on when the car starts.

I found a stock trim panel from a 2001 Intrigue with the heated seat switches. Of course the stock switches aren't a direct replacement for the aftermarket switches. I had to use three pnp transistors per switch (invert polarities) and a couple relays to make it all happen.
