i installed my head unit in the delta, but never figured out what i should connect the yellow back up wire to, so i just connected it to the ignition (the red one) but i notice it wont save my settings on the head unit (radio stations, eq settings ect.) because it doesnt have a constant power supply going to it, was my car not made with one of these wires? if not can i just wire it directly to the battery? fuse box? any help much appreciated

the yellow wire needs to be wired hot. the ignition wire is only hot when the key is on. see if there are any open fuse places in your fuse box. use a test light to see if any are hot at all times (key on and off). tap into that and put an inline fuse in the wire with a 5amp fuse.
