could someone please explain to me what a sub sonic is and where i should set it?

also could you explain the "phase" knob and where that should be?

just got the amp today and i have both these to the minumum right now..
this amp is sounding really great..cant believe my car has that sound coming out of it..
sounds like this..BOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM... :lol:

ok,did some research and found out about the subsonic filter.
My difinition for it would be this.

filters out any signal that's LOWER then the sub sonic filter is set.

thus if set to say 30Htz. then a 20Htz. signal will not make it to the speaker.

still dont know what the phase does ...

Subsonic filter is just a high pass crossover.
Subwoofer Phase Selector: Switches the phase of the low bass signal between normal and 180 degrees reverse and can make a difference in the sound according to the acoustic irregularities of the vehicle. This can improve the overall response of the system and bass impact.

Basically, with the phase, play around with it until it sounds good, and on each setting...close the trunk, don't leave it open...helps to have rear seats that fold down, but still can just run back and forth to set it and listen to it... :lol:

oh so the phase is a very personal setting then.
sure to screw that up.

my amp is not yet mounted in trunk.
it's right under drivers seat so no running,yet.
