I am looking for 2 nice 10" subs to put in my car and an amp... i am thinking about going with the rockford fosgate 400 watt and a fosgate 1000 watt amp...if anyone has any other suggestions on what i should look at instead i am open for suggestions.

Im thinking RF is going to cost you a whole lot more than you need to spend to get the same quality product...

Im leaning more towards Brando's approach (If I were in your situation). He bought Kole Audio amplifiers and a Shiva sub... He'd likely tell you all about them if you ask... They sound to me like the way to go, for $value to product quality ratio... :-)

Those are my three favorite stores for sound shopping, along with http://www.adireaudio.com
Kole Audio and my Shiva, I knew the Shiva would give some nice low bass, and it does. The Kole Audio amps I was a little curious at first, but I bought them and they really work great....haven't had one problem with them and they don't sound bad at all.
