Those wattage ratings are peak or rms? 60 watts on 3.5", must be peak....definately peak.

ha ha. I would love to get some 3.5's that would take 60 watts rms. Most coax die around 25 or 30
oh and to answer the questions....
First tell us what subwoofer you are considering. what amp are you considering?
That head unit by the way will put out 21 watts x4 or so rms if you get lucky so you may want to think about a 4 channel or a seperate amp for the coaxes.
"max/peak/total" power is a marketing scheme AND HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SPEAKER.
BUDGET?
I am thinking:
Get a midgrade PioneerTS-W255C 12" they are cheap and work ok for $60 or so. They dont sound good but they will give you a decent enough lower end.
Then I would actually stray away from the pioneer coax in the dash and go with an infinity or alpine, these companies seem to make the best small coax IMO. Infinity reference seem to be the best 3.5's i have ever heard and they can be had for $40ish brand new.
for an amp (the important part). I would go with an alpine/kicker/rf/jl/avionixx/ thats about it i would say I would honestly reccomend now adays. I would say avoid any brand that uses a max rating. but that is just me.
i wasted my money TWICE on a cheap amp ( i thought I could get 300 watts for under $100

)
and finally as far as 6x9s are concerned, I personally would drop them and just spend your money on a decent 4 channel amp, bridge it and run it to the sub and the other 2 channels to a nice set of component speakers.
whatever you do dont buy a pyramid/legacy/lanzar-vibe/boss/jensen amp.
i know it is tempting on ebay but dont do it.
been there done that.
