I am trying to take pics of my car at night with a regular camera but it always comes out grainy and blurry anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

Well, what film are you using? The best film for night shots I believe is 800.

1. Take OFF the lensecap!
2. Turn ON the lights...
3. Don't take pictures in the dark....

well i am using 800 speed film and i can't take pics of undercar neons in the light just wouldn't work

taking pictures at dusk can often create the effect of late night photo when you develop it. I learned that while trying to take pictures of my lights and such at night.

What kind of camera are you using?

I have a Pentax ZX-50 35mm that takes great night and dusk photos. It will automatically adjust the shutter speed and aperature size for the appropriate light.

If its just a diposable type camera, I doubt you'll ever get a decent shot. I've tried using them at night and end up with grainy white pictures.
