Well, my 83 Delta 88 is on its last leg. car was not designed to last almost 190k miles. Valvetrain rattle, tranny slips/leaks, got an antifreeze leak somewhere, quarter panels dinged up, car has multi-color paint job via replacement parts. List goes on, had the car for almost 5 years i think, been good, but had to replace it.
Was thumbing thru the local paper and noticed an ad for a 91 toronado... then it hit me that was the kind of car i wanted. Nice, unique, and fuel econimical *well, better than that 307-V8* went to work the next morning and was talking to the secrectary that handles the donated cars *i worked at a junk yard, past tense, just quit

* and she said we had a 91 toro coming in last week! so it got there and i looked it over, replaced the coil packs and spliced in the wires for it *Someone snipped the plug* and it ran like a champ, although it needs other work. After days of debating decided what the hell and got it tonight. Its at this point sittin in driveway waiting to be fixed to pass inspection and get tags.
Here is a list of what is wrong with the car :
-Main Problem - Freeze Plug between engine and firewall, ick
-Driver Seat Track Busted
-Drivers Side Window Regulator Busted
-Drivers Side mirror doesnt hold vertical position
-Passenger side headlight door broken/missing
-Passenger side bumper mounted parking light lense missing
-Front Bumper and reinforment bar
-Glove box a little messed up
-Headliner
-Rattling in back, still gotta investigate exact problem, i think its just the anti-rattle clip on the pads
-Trans fluid needs to be replaced, not burnt, just old
-Front bottom motor mount
-Interior lighting electrical problem-Blows fuses
Seems like alot, but just alot of small peddly problems, couple weeks of working on it should have it running
Will have pictures as soon as available
