Well, the homestead is looking like a friggin used car lot.... :lol:

Status of current projects:

91 Firebird: in the garage awaiting the rest of the rear panel sheetmetal to repair rearend damage and become daily driver (Initial cost: labor in trade on a guys fullsize Blazer, repaired stuck fuel injector, still needs cat back exhaust, 105,000 miles, 3.1 V6)

94 Jimmy: At the shop awaiting front pump parts for transmission, cracked pump housing (Initial cost:$800, 121,000 miles, 4.3 Vortec, SLT edition with leather, power everything, light rust damage, but repairable, bought with trans leak and bad starter)

86 Cutlass: Still at shop awaiting a ride home ala rollbed, lower end bad, needs engine (Initial cost: haul it away and it's yours, 307/TH200R4, previously titled in AZ,minor surface rust, bench seat, column shift, PW,A/C tilt, cruise, TONS of new parts, 114,000 mi)

87 Delta 88: current daily driver (Initial cost: $100, replaced LF drive axle, needs muffler and brakes soon, minor rust, 193,000 mi, tilt,A/C, rear defrost, no other power options, will be doing some repairs and selling after the firebird is up and going)

93 Voyager: wifes current daily driver, will be sold when the Jimmy is repaired

70 Vista Cruiser: in the garage on jackstands, trim holes welded, drip rails shaved, rear door handles shaved, awating parts and final bodywork before paint

72 Cutlass: stored in the barn, awaiting intake gasket and valve cover gaskets, new M/T ET radial Streets, and possibly a new set of Hooker SuperComp headers.

74 442: In the barn awaiting trunk pans and possible rearend and trans swap to a TH200R4 overdrive and 4.11 posi rear, otherwise ready to run.


Man....one of these days I REALLY learn to say "NO!" when it comes to a car deal, but DAMN....I can't help it!!!! :lol: It's a freaking ADDICTION, I tell ya! Especially when I have more room now :twisted:

dude, get all you can while it is still availiable, plus if you have the room, historical plates are cheep and so is moth balls so invest in all you can while you still have time

It's not that you need to quit buying, ya just gotta sell some of those cars....sell the Firebird, Jimmy, and Voyager. There, problem fixed.... :lol:

I hear you. I have bought 3 different cars in the past 8 months but also sold 3 cars in the past 7 months.
