I'm working on replacing the brake lines on my 1993 Olds 88 Royale LS and I came across 2 cylinders - 1 per line going to the rear brakes - approx 3" long and 1/2" in diameter. They were totally rusted so I could not get any info off of them.
What are they?
And, can you do without them? (Thinking about running the brake lines directly to the flex line and pass these up if not needed).
My car has ABS.
Thank You
Gary
