I bought a video... it's all of the promotional videos and commercials for Oldsmobile in 1973 on one tape. It's pretty cool to see all that stuff from "the good old days" when my car was state of the art

That's sweet dude. Do you have a video capture card because that would be cool to post on a webpage or something. My brother is big into fiero's and he found a ton of videos about his car and put them on kaza. We havent been arrested yet

no, no capture card... I was thinking about getting one, but I dont know if I could get anything that would work with my laptop. (something external?) There's another computer in the house that works good, but it's kinda slow, not really worth investing into.

Hey...73Delta88...here is a External Video Capture USB Device that I found....not too pricey...$54.99 not bad at all, plus TigerDirect.com is a good place to order from..along with newegg.com

This is $129.99, but doesn't require much processing power....this has minimum system requirements of P3 800MHz, while the $54.99 needs a P4 or higher...

hehe... well even with the fastest computer in the house (mine) I would still need to get the one that requires the lower ammount of processing power  mine's an Athlon 4 900 mhz w/ 320mb of ram. the other computer in the house is a pentium II, 450mhz with 384mb ram. My parents are the only ones who use it, and all they use it for is web browsing and email and word processing, plus I have it dialed in pretty good, so it works fine for what they need it for. but a little to slow for video processing. I just ordered an engine for my truck today, and even though I got money from the guy I bought the truck from it's still going to cost me more out of my pocket, so I'm taking it easy on un-necessary expenses for a little while.
