Hi everyone!

It's great to see such an awesome Forum board for Oldsmobiles! I'm trying to find a radio and a Hood Ornament For a 1950 Oldsmobile 88.

Where do Ya'll go to buy acessories for your Oldsmobiles?

I've been able to find the Hood Ornament on EBay Motors, but lose the auctions. The Radio I can find no trace of, just schematics. Digging Thru Google just turns up engine/body parts and spam.

I figured if anyone knew a good place for accesories it would be you guys. :)

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Restore195088,

Welcome to TOC.

As you've already found, the hood ornament shouldn't be that hard. Radio, on the other hand, will be harder. Might be easier if yours came off the "line" without one. The "cover plate" might useful, in a trade.

I'll see what I can "dig up".

Depends on your definition of "accessories" vs replacement/restoration parts.
Hard to beat Fusick for their knowledge of '49-'50 Olds. You can download pdf Catalog, or order a paper one.

Thanks 88 Coupe! Fusick is exactly what I was looking for! I didn't come across them and it's also nice to use some one that other Oldsmobile people know and trust.
Much appreciated!

Thanks Norm!
Don was exactly whom I was looking for. He had a large selection to choose from. I got exactly what I needed at a reasonalble price to. Oh and Don is awesome to work with, just another enthusiast like us.
Don should be stickied/or mentioned when anyone needs a radio for an Olds.
Thanks again Norm!

Glad I could help.

Re: Your profile. Unless your engine was changed, along the way, it is a 303.

My "437" is a, bored and stroked, 425 from a "65 Olds 98.
