I just stumbled on to what I think was a good find

I got a 1987 Olds cutlass supreme but I need help

how would I find out if its a regular cutlass or a SS if they even made them in 87

here is what is stock on the car and is 100% stock as of now with 96k on it with a solid frame and only some lite body work needed

307 with 4bbl carb
THM 200R4 overdrive trans
Euro front clip
factory rally 2 rims the 2 for the rear were missing but I just found some in the bone yard and I tell ya its getting harder and harder to find parts for it.
so how would I get the info I want. Any more info you may need I can get it for ya

The (RWD) part desn't seem to like being linked.


Only three possibilities in '87: Cutlass Supreme, Cutlass Supreme Brougham, and 442. Not hard to tell the difference.


SS (Super Sport) was a Chev only trim level.


307 was the only V8 available in '87, and all had Quadrajet™ (quadra = 4 and jet = barrel/venturi) carbs.


And all came with TH-200 4R (4 spd Automatic) trans.


Same as any other '87. "Euro styling" was a fad during that era.


You do mean "wheels" don't you? "Rims" are only part of a wheel.

Other than that, it looks like a good project.
