Yes i just bought a 1992 olds 88 the blower fan stays on even when i turn car off/key out.the fan is controled by an automatic climite control panel not the manuel kind dont know if that makes a differance.

Sam, Sam, Sam. People come here hoping that perhaps someone else had a similar problem and knows how to fix it, or they can offer some troubleshooting tips. If we could all afford to just schlep on down to a mechanic when something goes wrong, we wouldn't post our problems.

Not meaning to flame you or anything, but just telling someone to go to a mechanic isn't much help, unless you've experienced the exact same thing and it is beyond a do-it-yourselfer's expertise.

You need a blower control module. It's in the fan duct under the hood. If you don't know someone that can help you fix it, you may have to take it to a mechanic. Though if you supply your own part, it might cut down on the cost.
