What does this have to do with the topic at all? This should be posted in a new post.

Well I finally did it, the Cutlass Ciera is at the upholstery shop. Should be back around Wednesday with a new vinyl roof and new emblems just in time to take it to some shows this spring/summer.

8-) Just got the Cutlass back, pics to follow once the weather clears and I can take it out of the garage.

As a bonus, on the way home of the upholstery shop, I was asked by a total stranger while at a stop light if the car was forsale (he motioned to roll down the window, and told me my car is 'mint".) Today is an A+ day.

The comment was made because you mentioned earlier about having the weatherstripping replaced in the trunk area, i was asking if you had a leak and if it was on the right side of the trunk or not? just a simple question, that runs along with your post. so yes it has plenty to do with the "topic".

My to do list since the wife won't let me get a 56 Olds.

Touch up some paint spots. (Chipping on the hood)

Replace or install fog lamps. (I like the four lights coming at you on the road)
Replace the window molding.
Keep the car in top shape.

Not too much but it will keep me busy
8-)

I finally got around this year to getting my "Early American" (old car) registration and moving the Cutlass to collector car insurance (Hagerty). While not so much of an improvement to the car, its nice to have everything else in order.

New Plugs (bosch Platinum+4's) and wires
K&N air filter
New tires (like to go up a size or two using low pro tires eventually)
fix the drivers window problem (won't go up or down and is slowly slipping)
fix the windshield wiper problem
finish the stereo system (alpine CDE-9874 receiver in there currently adding
Alpine SPR-69C rear deck speakers
Alpine SPS-406 door speakers
Boston Acoustics S35 dash speakers
probably not gonna add a sub but if I do it would be a single 12" kicker L7 and a kicker 500W amp)
remove the door belt molding
touch up a few chips in the paint (living down a 1/2 mile gravel road ugh :( )
