Last week I baught a 1997 supercharged 88 LSS. Whoa, this car can move! Instantanious power at the touch of the pedal. It is almost identical to my 93' 88. The easiest way to tell them apart is by the 97s sunroof. I'm not much of a fan of the 97' LSS's seats, the 93' has far more comfortable seats. The LSS has more firm seats. This will take some getting used to. One other problem the car has is a bad vibration on the highway. Other than that it is the sleeper affect that won me over. I mean, does anyone expect a white 88 to go from 0-60 in 6.8 seconds?

Cool, that's a real sweet car, take good care of it, as it's also very rare to see one supercharged.
You'll definately want to check into that bad vibration on the highway...could be something as simple as needing an alignment, or it could be worn wheel bearing/s, tie rod ends, or ball joints.

check for an out of ballance tire first most tire imbalances occure at one speed (say 45mph) and also resonates again at say 65-70 mph.
a slipped belt will cause an out of balance condition also but at low speeds will cause the front/rear end to wag side to side (if the front steering wheel will tend to also) nice cars man enjoy!
hope i could help, schlim
