Looking through some other threads, I see a pattern: Norm interjects his unsolicited opinion into a discussion, which is always completely contrary to anything already posted.
Unsolicited opinion? Tell me then, whats the purpose of a dicussion board, such as this? Does a person need permission to reply to a thread?
I see one pattern with 88Coupe. The pattern is that he tries to pass on correct information, and not misinformation. By debunking misinformation, we collectively become smarter and more knowledgeable on the truth of the subject. This is what a discussion board is for.
You said it best Brando- We can all learn alot from not only Norm, but each other.

Maybe you say, "Case closed" to yourself each time for effect.
I can just see you doing this Norm...

When someone responds, you pick apart their post, taking parts out of context and responding to them as if they're individual statements, as you'll no doubt do with this one.
Id like to see examples of stuff taken out of context. Quoting parts of a post helps everyone understand exactly what is meant in the response. I could type out everything I have said, in one paragraph, while quoting you and it would look like garbage, and read like garbage too. Just because someone takes 3 sentences to a quote and then responds doesnt mean that they are 'picking apart your post' As far as responding to them as if they are individual statements, why is that so bad? Is a paper, or a paragraph, or a post not a series of individual statements tied together with qualifying statements, transition statements, and punctuation?

Your knowledge may be extensive, but you're nothing short of a smartass about it. Don't worry, I won't offend the king of this little hill anymore
Read whats there. Dont read what isnt. Instead of trying to read with emotion. Read it for what it is. Nothing more, nothing less.
