I have had my Delta 88 in my possession for 2 days now . I am starting to clean her up and get underway with the tune up. I am wondering your opinions on products that you would use and not use with or for the 307. Like spark plugs-wires, filters of any kind etc etc....

I am thinking about going with the K&N drop in air filter then fiberglassing a custom CAI tubing setup from the filter chamber to the front grille.

For everything else I need your opinions and advice on.
What kind of oil do you guys prefer? High mileage.
What kind of coolant?
I cant think right now so if there is anything I missed answer what your thinking.

You can't go wrong with AC/Delco products for your tune-up. Unless you want to dress up the engine compartment for looks I would recommend you don't do anything special as far as the air filter set-up. Just stay stock. K&N is overated and at best you will only see a very slight improvement on engine performance.

As far as oil, you will get as many preferences as there are people. Probably the consensus is for an older engine, conventional oil is more economical than synthetics, an oil advertised as high-mileage would work as well as any other. The most important thing would be to change the oil often and change the filter every time you change the oil.

Don't use the new orange coolant, just stick with regular green stuff. Again, brand choice is your choice because every person has a diffferent preference.
